2009LincolnCents.com was created to provided detailed information on the 2009 Bicentennial Lincoln Cents.
The coins celebrate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth with four different reverse designs representing different stages of his life. This change in design followed the depiction of the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse of the coin for the past fifty years. For the past 100 years, the same obverse design featuring a portrait of Lincoln has been used.
